Jetsetting

A personal goal of mine is to become a jetsetter. I want to travel whenever and wherever I want at the drop of a dime. I'm starting my jet setting ways by heading up to Block Island for the weekend for my best friend's bachelorette party. I know it's probably not really jet setting, but I am picking up and leaving for the weekend to go on an excursion, it just so happens to be back to my home town to celebrate with my girlfriends, but I have to start somewhere. Right?

My next trip is at the beginning of September for a wedding and my boyfriend is coming with me. I'm pretty excited about that. He'll get to meet my family and friends and I'll get to show him around my hometown and see the sights of Boston. We're also going to be driving to New Jersey for a day so he can see the comic store run by Jay and Silent Bob - I don't know they're real names but he wants to go - he really likes comic books.

After this trip I will be planning another bachelorette to Atlantic City, New Jersey and another wedding up north at the beginning of 2015. Then, it will be traveling to whatever destination I choose. Something fun. Something cool. Maybe something exotic? My cousin and I will be going on a European vacation the summer of 2016 when I'm 30 (yuck) and he's 25. I'm super thrilled about that and already semi-planned our itinerary which mostly involves seeing sights that were used in Harry Potter - and then of course historical sights like Buckingham Palace and hopefully the Eiffel Tower in Paris. We're definitely going to London, but unless I get a new job, I won't be able to take a long, much needed trip to Europe. We'll see about that, it's still two years away. Plenty of time to save and plan.

If I could find a way to comfortably travel and work from home that's what I would like to do. I'm a writer at heart, but I can't seem to finish one train of thought long enough to create a great work of literature. It's quite a dilemma when I would like to write books for a living, but only time will tell and dreams do come true if you believe. Until then, safe travels and great adventures will be had by me...this weekend at least. ;) Bon Voyage. Too-da-loo!!
